Sung Eucharist 9.30 most Sundays

At KCM we recognise that different people like to worship God in different ways. Some like a more traditional service with formal prayers, liturgy, incense and a robed choir. Others prefer a more informal service with more modern music and a less ordered structure.

At KCM we offer both. This service is a celebration of the last supper, sometimes known as Holy Communion, the Eucharist or Mass. At KCM we celebrate with formal liturgy, hymns and a choir singing the music setting.

All are welcome to attend the service. All baptised and communicant members of their own churches are welcome to come to the altar and to receive the Eucharist. We welcome children and young people of all ages. Whilst there is no organised children’s work during this service, the children’s corner is full of toys and books.

The service lasts about an hour.

Morning Worship 11.00 most Sundays

At KCM we recognise that different people like to worship God in different ways. Some like a more traditional service with formal prayers, liturgy, incense and a robed choir. Others prefer a more informal service with more modern music and a less ordered structure. At KCM we offer both. At 11 am on Sundays we enjoy Morning Worship.

This service is more contemporary in feel. Music is led by a music group. Once a month we celebrate the Eucharist in a more informal style than the earlier service. All are welcome and children’s groups are run on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, with Messy Church happening in the afternoon of the 2nd Sunday.

The service is led by the Vicar or our licensed Lay Minister but other members of the church lead the prayers, read the Bible passages and participate in a variety of ways. If you are new to the Church or Christianity, this is an ideal place to explore the Christian faith in a friendly and supportive environment.

Weekday Services

At KCM we believe that we should live our faith everyday – not just on Sundays. We encourage our members to put aside some time each day to pray and study the Bible. Holy Communion is celebrated each Tuesday morning at 10am in the church (or the vestry in the colder winter months).
