Messy Church is an exciting form of church designed for children and their parents or carers. Even if you or your children have never been to church, why not come and enjoy the company of other parents/carers and their children and make some new friends.
Messy church starts with arts and crafts, games and other activities which families do together. Then we move to church to worship with music, a Bible reading and a short story or talk. We would usually have tea and a chat in the Hall, but due to Covid-19 restrictions we aren't able to offer this at the moment.
Messy Church is
- Free of charge
- Wear appropriate clothing – it is Messy Church after all!
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Due to Covid restrictions Messy Church will look a little different for the time being. Please do book to let us know that you would like to come, as we have limited space. Family groups and bubbles will sit on one table with all they need for craft activities in one place. We will then go up to church for worship, again with family groups and bubbles being asked to sit on their own individual row.
- Please do book by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and let Nikki our Children and Families worker know that you are coming.
We look forward to welcoming you and your children. We will be meeting from 3pm till approx 4.30pm on Sunday afternoons (see below for the dates for the rest of the year.
During 2020 we will be meeting on Sundays 13th September, 11th October, 8th November and 13th December.
See you then. For any further details please the Church Office on 01707 665579 or email email@example.com
